Mich. corrections officer’s house target of drive-by shooting

Two suspects were arrested, but no information was released on how they were caught or the motive

HARRISON, Mich. — The Clare County Sheriff Office is investigating a drive-by shooting on a corrections officer’s home reportedly over the weekend.

Clare County Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski said Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing and they will release information later.

Two suspects were arrested in the case and remain jailed in the Gladwin County Jail. One is a 24-year-old Clare man. The other’s age is not available at press time. Both men are awaiting arraignment. It isn’t yet released how the suspects were caught or the motive.

Miedzianowski said the correction’s officer is well and there were no injuries.

No further information is yet available in the case.
