Two prisoners were beheaded and another killed during a riot over conditions at a jail in southern Brazil. Inmates of the penitentiary in Cascavel took at least two other agents and a number of other inmates hostage in the uprising on Sunday.
Police say the guard on duty had not bothered to inspect the cell for about two months before the inmates' brazen escape.
Brazilian COs found an inmate stuck in a wall in an apparent escape attempt. Two inmates were behind the man waiting for their turn, but they'll have to wait a little longer.
