The ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is looking for individuals who are confident, assertive, independent, and act with integrity. As a high performing Correctional Officer, you will set an example each day through positive and pro-social role modeling, utilizing dynamic security concepts by building a rapport, observing, and supervising residents inside our correctional facilities. All you need to qualify to start working as a Correctional Officer is a high school diploma or GED. One of two starting pay rates is selected based on your experience and education. No experience? No problem! The ND DOCR will train you and you will get paid while training!
