Counselor - Correctional Recovery Academy

*_Location: *_Essex County House of Correction in Middleton

*_Schedule: *_8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday

*Pay rate: *$50,000-$60,000/annually depending on education

The Correctional Recovery Academy Counselor is responsible for:

• Providing assessment, case management, education to offenders according to the approved curriculum and completes all required documentation in the case record.
• Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed.

*Qualifications: *

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required
• CADC or LADC preferred
