Corrections1 also collects IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. In addition, Corrections1 Mail includes IP addresses in outgoing mail message headers. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.
Our tracking technology used to for client campaigns throughout the site does not collect any personal identifiable information that you provide as a part of your Corrections1 membership. Your personal information stored in cookies is only used for the purposes listed above to help improve your user experience.
Who is collecting information?
Promotions that run on Corrections1 may be sponsored by companies other than Corrections1 or may be cosponsored by Corrections1 and another company. Some or all data collected during a promotion may be shared with the sponsor. If data will be shared, you will be notified prior to the time of data collection or transfer. Corrections1 may, from time to time, send you email regarding our products and services. In addition, if you indicated upon registration that you are interested in receiving offers or information from Corrections1 and our partners, we may occasionally send you direct mail about products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. Only Corrections1 (or agents working on behalf of Corrections1 and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings and only if you indicated that you do not object to these offers. What is Corrections1's policy on allowing me to update, correct, or delete my personal information?
You may edit, update or delete your Corrections1 Account Information and your public Corrections1 Profile at any time by using your Corrections1 ID and password. The profile you create on our site will be publicly accessible unless otherwise indicated. You may change the privacy settings of your profile through your account portal.

Your Corrections1 account can be deleted or deactivated, but doing so will result in not being able to access any members-only area of the Corrections1 network, including your Corrections1 Mail account (if you have one). If you saved the confirmation email you received when you first created your Corrections1 account, you can use the URL provided in that message to delete your account at any time. If you are participating in a Corrections1 promotion and you wish to update your email address on the promotions mailing list or to quit a promotion and cease receiving promotion-related email, please contact feedback@CorrectionsOne.com or update the subscription settings on your personal profile. All login pages where you are required to enter your username and password are protected by industry-standard, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption.
Knowing that you use certain services or features may help us to offer you better and more relevant content and advertisements. But as with all personal information, we do not make this available to any third parties without your permission. Any user statistics that we may provide to prospective advertisers or partners regarding financial product or service usage on Corrections1 are provided in the aggregate only and do not include any personal information about any individual user.
We retain the personal information we collect from you for as long as the information is relevant to our business purposes or until you request that we remove the data by contacting Lexipol below. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Unsubscribing and opting out of personal information
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or other promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each communication, by updating your profile or emailing customersupport@CorrectionsOne.com.

Tell a Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. This feature is available with Corrections1 articles, tips and videos throughout Corrections1.com. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Corrections1 does not store this information and will not send any additional messages to the referred user.
What security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of my information?
Your Corrections1 Account Information and Corrections1 Profile are password-protected so that you and only you have access to this personal information. You may edit your Corrections1 Account Information and Corrections1 Profile by using your Corrections1 ID and password.
We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Corrections1 will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. Also remember to sign out of your Corrections1 account and close your browser window when you have finished your work. Corrections1 has taken several precautions to protect the identity, account names and passwords of officers when they register and log on to Corrections1.com. All transfer of registration and login information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Unfortunately, this process cannot be 100% secure and Corrections1 is not responsible for the misuse of these user names and passwords. Despite all of our precautions, you use Corrections1 at your own risk.
We periodically post member testimonials on Corrections1 which may contain personal information such as the member's username. We do obtain the member's consent prior to posting each testimonial.
