ATLANTA — The execution of Georgia’s only female death row inmate has been postponed due to a snowstorm.
ABC News reports that Kelly Renee Gissendaner, 46, was denied a last-minute stay on Wednesday, which meant her execution was moving forward.
But an impending storm that would drop several inches of snow has postponed her execution until Monday, March 2.
Gissendaner was convicted of murdering her husband in Feb. 1997.
