Should I Be Checking EMPTY CELLS??

During security rounds, should you look into empty cells? Whether it's to hide some sort of contraband, commit a PREA violation, or even set-up a fight, inmates are looking to use these areas instead of their own living units. By not doing these examples in their own living quarters, it is harder to know exactly who's property was in the empty cells or who was actually in those areas at any given time. By looking in these areas when doing security rounds, you will help remove contraband and also show the inmates that you are regularly keeping an eye on these areas. Inmates are very observant. If they notice you are not checking a particular area, those are the areas that they are going to take advantage of. To learn more visit guardianrfid.com
