PROTECH Launches New Body Bunker Breacher Shield
Safariland™, a BAE Systems line of business, announced today the introduction of the PROTECH® Body Bunker® Breacher Type IIIA shield. The shield was developed to meet the ballistic needs of entry teams in scenarios using explosives. The shield and viewport have been independently tested against 17 gr. fragmentation with a V50 of 2,078 feet per second (fps) and to defeat the following handgun rounds:
