MEET THE SPEAKER:
Ray Padilla is the Western U.S. Sales Manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Chemical Analysis Division, where he supports law enforcement agencies, forensic teams and first responders with advanced chemical identification technologies designed to improve field safety, drug detection and community protection. Ray brings 28 years of law enforcement experience to his role, including a decade as a DEA Task Force Officer and extensive narcotics investigative experience. His career has included service with the Westminster Police Department and Summit County Sheriff’s Office, as well as leadership in major investigations, crisis-response operations and law enforcement training. Ray has also served as President and Executive Director of the Colorado Drug Investigators Association, supporting training and professional development for more than 400 law enforcement professionals. Throughout his career, his focus has remained on equipping frontline personnel with the technology, training and expertise needed to address evolving public-safety challenges.
