OKLAHOMA CITY — The Department of Corrections is expected to speak today about recommendations released in a report last week into the death of inmate Clayton Lockett.
KFOR reports that the State Department of Public Safety has made 11 recommendations, from having more medical personnel nearby to having additional supplies of lethal drugs and equipment on hand.
The DOC is expected to implement the new recommendations to make sure future executions are carried out correctly.
There are three executions between November and December of this year, with the first being on Nov. 13.
