HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two Hutchinson Correctional Facility officers were treated and released Friday at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after allegedly being battered by an inmate.
KWCH reported the battery occurred around 4 p.m. in E-Dorm of the facility’s central unit. The inmate accused of the battery was placed in the administrative segregation unit pending an investigation of the incident.
No other information was available from HCF on Saturday.
On July 1, another battery on staff occurred in the central unit clinic. At that time, an inmate allegedly battered a female corrections officer and two male clinic workers, HCF reported at the time.
