DAYTON, Ohio — She’s no El Chapo.
An inmate attempting to escape from a waiting room at a county jail in Dayton, Ohio, was captured on surveillance video falling from the ceiling, WHIO-TV reported Wednesday.
Jessica Boomershine found herself in Montgomery County Jail after she allegedly broke into a home, according to the station.
In the video, the 42-year-old climbs up into the ceiling boards, leaving the frame as others point and gape. Then, around the 53-second mark, the boards appear to burst beneath her, and she is pulled to the ground.
Boomershine was due in court Jan. 21 and now faces new charges of escape and destruction of property, according to WHIO.
She was arrested Jan. 16.
