MANCHESTER, UK — A convicted murderer who spent the last three days protesting from the roof of a Manchester jail has been lured back into the facility by staff promising him food.

The Guardian reports that Stuart Horner, 35, has been in the high-security Strangeways jail for the last 27 years after shooting his uncle in the chest with a shotgun during a family feud in 2012.

During his three-day protest, he ripped metal strips from the prison’s roof, smashed windows and attacked cameras. Much to the delight of crowds, he also danced to Sisqo’s ‘Thong Song.’ From the rooftop, Horner complained about prison conditions and said he wanted to change prison history.

Prison officials used a fire brigade cherrypicker crane to reach him in an attempt to talk him down after the protest started Sunday.

Horner finally came down after staff promised him a pizza and a can of Coca-Cola.

As he made his way down, Horner is quoted as saying: “I’ve proved my point. I’ve got a 12 inch pizza and a can of coke. I’ve done what I wanted. I’ve had a mad one.”
