WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A man who kicked a four-months pregnant corrections officer in the stomach was sentenced to 100 days already served.
Travis J. Hughes was also given three years probation for battery by a prisoner, resisting an officer, entry into a locked coin box and misdemeanor theft, all as a repeat offender, according to Wisconsin Rapids Tribune.
During the sentencing, he was also ordered to pay $1,607.
The female officer who was kicked by Hughes did not experience any permanent injury from the incident.
