HUME, Australia — Footage of inmates fighting inside a cell posted to YouTube prompted Australian authorities to search the facility and seize contraband.

ABC News reports that Corrective Services Minister Shane Rattenbury ordered an investigation into the cell phone video that showed two inmates duking it out in a staged fight inside the Alexander Maconochie Center (AMC).

Staff were able to use the footage to identify the inmates fighting, as well as confirmed that the footage was indeed shot inside AMC.

Searches performed turned up contraband items including a cell phone, though it’s not been confirmed if the phone is the same one used to shoot the video.

“The detainees seen fighting can be charged with assault while other detainees can face charges relating to the security and good order of AMC,” Rattenbury said.

ACT Corrective Services has contacted YouTube to have the video removed.
