ASHFORD, Surrey — A serial killer being held in HMP Bronzefield hoped to cut off a correction officer’s finger to use it to beat the prison’s biometric security.

According to the Mirror, Joanna Dennehy’s plot when two fellow inmates got in touch with the authorities. Dennehy allegedly developed the plan while in segregation.

The source claimed: “With the help of another lifer, she was planning an escape. What came to light was how she was going to do it, which was extremely vicious.

“It involved killing a prison officer and also mutilating another.

“This was for biometrics, to cut off her finger for the print. Two prisoners grassed her up and told the officer what was happening.

“There was a lockdow nand the Home Office was notified.”

The category-A jail is the largest women’s prison in Europe.
