SCOTTS BLUFF, Neb. — An estimated 200 officers from law enforcement agencies across the country, as well as the Patriot Guard Riders, will be on hand Saturday to honor a Scotts Bluff County corrections officer killed in an assault last week.
Amanda Baker, 24, died Sunday as a result of a Feb. 14 assault at the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center. Two teens have been charged in the woman’s death.
The Patriot Guard Riders Inc. have indicated that they will escort Baker’s funeral precession from Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home in Scottsbluff on Saturday to funeral services at Monument Bible Church. The Patriot Guard has invited the public to observe and pay tribute along the precession route.
