MACON, Ga. — The casket of two inmates’ grandmother was used to smuggle marijuana and contraband into Bibb County Jail.

NY Daily News reports that Nekoase Antwan Vinson and Henry Ison Rouse retrieved drugs and other contraband from Emma Mae Faulk’s coffin, believed left in the coffin by other relatives.

Officers had escorted the shackled duo to the wake on Thursday and the inmates were briefly left alone by the casket to grieve.
