WILKINSON COUNTY, Miss. — A company that runs four prisons in Mississippi is thinking outside the box to help prevent contraband.
WAFB reports that K-9s have been added to the Wilkinson County Correctional Center to search both the grounds, inmates and vehicles to search for any potential contraband.
The facility has also added a large fence with a catch basin that also has new cameras.
The warden says all additions have been a big improvement and plans to add more K-9s in the future.
