PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office says a mother-daughter team smuggled drugs into a prison.
Victoria Curry, 53, was arrested for bringing morphine pills to her daughter serving time at Clinton County Correctional Facility. Police say Curry had her infant grandson with her when she allegedly brought the drugs to Kimberly Laroe, 30.
Sheriffs say when corrections officers discovered what was happening, Laroe swallowed the pills to prevent the drugs from being used as evidence against her.
