CLEVELAND— A Cleveland corrections officer filed a police report Wednesday after he lost his badge inside a local CVS Pharmacy.
According to Cleveland.com, Robert A. Salvatore told police his badge was inside a wallet, along with bank and credit cards, that are also missing.
Salvatore went to the gym, then home, eventually noticing his wallet was missing around 6 p.m. the following day after his shift at the Cleveland City Jail.
He went back to CVS, but no one had seen his wallet.
Salvatore told the city about the badge as soon as he realized it was missing, Cleveland city spokesman Dan Williams told Cleveland.com.
He has worked for the city since 1994.
