LUMBERTON — Four employees with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office have been promoted, according to spokesperson Randall Graham.
Rikki Mofford was promoted from corporal to detention sergeant. Mofford began her career with the Sheriff’s Office as a detention officer in January 2009 and was promoted to corporal in September 2013.
Larry Jones, a 15-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office, was also promoted from corporal to detention sergeant. Jones began his career at the Sheriff’s Office as a detention officer in September 1998 and was promoted to corporal in February 2011.
Belinda Taylor, who joined the Sheriff’s Office as a detention officer in February 2012, was promoted to detention corporal.
Elston Powell was also promoted to detention corporal. He started as a detention officer with the Sheriff’s Office in July 2009.
All the promotions were effective March 1.
