ATTICA, NY — It took five prison employees to restrain an inmate, resulting in injuries for all.

Inmate Deion Brown, an inmate serving time for robbery, failed to obey a direct order from a corrections officer, according to The Buffalo News. He then lunged at a sergeant who was trying to resolve the dispute and began striking him.

Another sergeant and four corrections officers responded to restrain Brown.

The first sergeant was flown by helicopter to Erie County Medical Center, where he was treated for a concussion and released. Three of the corrections officers were taken in a state vehicle to Wyoming Community Hospital, where they were treated and released. One officer remained on duty.
