BETHLEHEM -- A Bethlehem man facing attempted homicide charges for attacking his uncle in his basement last September threatened to kill his victim once he’s out of prison, according to court documents.

Assistant District Attorney Tatum Wilson said in court documents that John Bragg Jr. told another prisoner at Northampton County Prison he would kill Bill Fitzpatrick, his uncle and landlord, once he finally got out of prison. The document did not identify the prisoner, but he told authorities Bragg claimed he would seek vengeance on Fitzpatrick, even if he had to spend five to 10 years in prison first.

“He said was going to take care of him... he said he was going to kill him,” the inmate said in the documents.
