LOS ANGELES — A California corrections officer was found dead in an aqueduct in LA county on Friday, according to The Associated Press.
Thomas Hayes, 51, was found two days after he was first reported missing. He allegedly often walked his dog along the aqueduct and at time would have to rescue it when it fell in, but the dog returned to the car alone on Wednesday.
There was no evidence of foul play, according to reports.
