PHOENIX — The U.S. Supreme Court has denied last-minute appeals on behalf of an Arizona death-row inmate scheduled for execution Wednesday.
The Supreme Court declined without comment to block the execution of Richard Dale Stokley.
He is scheduled to be put to death at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
