BRISTOL COUNTY, Mass. — Former Patriots football player and inmate Aaron Hernandez is being investigated for threats made against a corrections officer and his family.
According to Sports Illustrated, Hernandez made machine gun noises at an officer who stopped him from receiving more food than he was allotted. Hernandez then said he would ‘kill the [officer] and shoot his family’ once he was released from jail.
Hernandez has been incarcerated since 2013 after being charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd, another former football player, and is also facing charges stemming from a fight with another inmate earlier this year.
