SAC COUNTY, Iowa — A Sac County Jail inmate is facing more charges after attempting escape by scaling a jail wall.
WHOTV reports that Randy Barney, a burglary suspect, started climbing a fence with a barbed wire barrier while he was in the exercise area.
Barney was apprehended while still on jail property. He had some minor injuries from the fence but did not require medical treatment.
