LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A lieutenant at the Bullitt County Detention Center died early Thursday morning.
WDRB reports that Lt. Scott Travis suffered a heart attack after working the 2 p.m. to midnight shift Wednesday evening.
He finished his shift clearing a path for cars at the detention center parking lot and shortly after complained of chest pain.
He was later found dead at his home, still in his uniform.
Travis was with the detention center for 11 years.
