AURORA, Ill. — A DeKalb man has been charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer after allegedly spitting on two Kendall County Jail corrections officers on Saturday.

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said Terence Low, 59, was being disruptive inside the jail and was restrained in a chair by two deputies. Deputy Bryan Harl said when the deputies were near Low, he spat on them.

He was later charged with the felony battery offense. Harl said Low was in custody at the jail based on a charge out of DeKalb County.
