JACKSON — A Mississippi corrections officer guard has sued the Department of Corrections’ employees for its alleged failure to pay overtime to employees.
The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Jackson on April 11. The MDOC has about three weeks to file a response.
A correctional officer with the state prison system has filed a class action lawsuit against Corrections Commissioner Chris Epps over unpaid overtime wages.
