HUNTERDON COUNTY, N.J. — A man on the Hunterdon County Jail staff for just 18 months has been named the County Correction Officer of the Year for 2012.
Each year, the county Department of Public Safety, Division of Corrections recognizes an outstanding member of its staff with the award.
Freeholder Director Rob Walton presented the award to Donald Schreck, whose family joined him at the Tuesday, Dec. 18 Freeholders meeting.
The recipient is selected after being nominated by his peers, Walton noted.
