MARYSVILLE, Ohio — A correction officer at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville died yesterday afternoon when his truck crashed into a prison building.

The wreck occurred just before 5:20 p.m. when Ronald Price, 51, of Marysville, veered off a low-speed access road on the prison grounds and slammed his pickup truck into a maintenance building, according to Sgt. Bo Schmutz of the Marysville post of the State Highway Patrol.

An autopsy will help determine whether Price, who was leaving work for home, might have suffered a medical situation before the crash, according to Union County Coroner David Applegate.
