BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the killing of a 60-year-old correctional officer last summer.

Police said Friday the reward, previously set at $5,000, was increased due to a $20,000 donation specifically for information on this homicide.

Carl Crawford was found dead in his home Aug. 22, 2014, in the 2600 block of Hempstead Way. Investigators said in court filings it appeared Crawford had been shot multiple times.
