WARREN – Two of the inmates involved in last April’s hostage situation have been indicted in connection with the incident.
WFMJ reports that Richard Ware and Kevin Johns were both indicted by a grand jury.
Johns was originally serving28 years for kidnapping, and Ware was serving time for robbery.
They and a third inmate, David Martin, took a corrections officer hostage at knife point inside the Trumbull County Jail in April.
Both men now face charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery, possession of a deadly weapon, felonious assault and aiding an escape.
Martin was sentenced to death in September for the 2012 murder of Jeremy Cole.
