SUNBURY, Pa. — An inmate who received contraband from a visitor through a kiss pleaded guilty to new charges Monday.
News Item reports that Michael Dingle was sentenced to an additional two to four years in prison, along with a $500 fine. The sentence is concurrent to the 26 to 52 years he’s serving for crimes in Philadelphia County.
Dingle met with Laborah Moinque Evans in a visiting area on March 21; Evans went into a restroom to place balloons stuffed with contraband in her mouth, before passing said contraband to Dingle through a kiss.
Staff observed all the transactions and the incident was also captured on video.
Nine balloons were passed in all, which Dingle passed while defecating. Seven balloons were filled with 1 gram of marijuana each, while the other two balloons held thumb drives holding porn and music.
Charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana and contraband are pending against Evans.
