PINEVILLE, Mo. — Two McDonald County Jail inmates are accused of breaking out of jail and back into it Tuesday night.

Eric Bishop, 26, of Rogers, Ark., and Justin Forcum, 26, Anderson, Mo., are back in custody today, albeit in different jails and in different counties. The two escaped from the McDonald County Jail about 11 p.m. Tuesday, breaking out by punching out a ceiling panel, then knocking a hole in the metal siding of the building, Sheriff Robert Evenson said. The two left the jail to buy meth.

“The night before last, jail staff heard something in the ceiling,” Evenson said. “The evening sergeant/supervisor discovered a hole on the outside of one of the pods.”
