MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. — An inmate attacked two female corrections officers in an escape attempt from Muskogee County Jail.
Officials told NewsOn6 that Dillon Wiley attempted to escape Saturday. He attacked the two employees, stole their keys and tried to flee out the main door before jail staff detained him.
Both officers were transported to the hospital where they were treated and released.
Wiley faces additional charges of attempted escape and multiple counts of assault on an officer. He was initially arrested for possession of a CDS and eluding charges from Webbers Falls police.
