BILLINGS, Mont. — A Montana Women’s Prison inmate escaped Friday morning from a Billings correctional facility.
Christina Becker, 26, was assigned to the garden maintenance crew and apparently left the prison over the garden’s perimeter fence on the east side of the facility, according to Associate Warden Bob Paul.
Paul said the prison initiated emergency procedures and immediately notified law enforcement agencies in the surrounding areas of the escape.
Becker was serving a five-year sentence for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and a consecutive three-year sentence for escape in connection with walking away from a prerelease center.
Becker, DOC # 3013318, is 5'3", 153 lbs., and has blonde hair, blue eyes and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing grey shorts and a dark navy-blue t-shirt.
