SALEM, Ore. — Kim Brockramp will be filling Mitch Morrow’s shoes when he retires at the end of the month as deputy director of the Oregon Department of Corrections.

Brockramp is a 23-year veteran of the DOC, and currently serves as the assistant director of the Offender Management and Rehabilitation Division, according to the Statesman Journal.

“Ms. Brockramp’s broad DOC experience and expertise in organizational development, budgeting, teambuilding, labor relations, and stakeholder relations make her uniquely suited for the deputy director position,” Corrections Director Colette Peters said in a statement.

“She cares deeply about this agency and the people in it, and she looks forward to serving in her new role.”

Morrow officially retired Aug. 1, but stayed on until his replacement was found.
