CO injured after fight at Okla. prison

SAYRE, Okla. — A CO suffered injuries after an inmate fight at North Fork Correctional Facility Monday.

Spokesman Alex Gerszewski told Fox23 that a small group of inmates started a fight. A correctional officer was injured and taken to the hospital.

The unnamed CO was treated for minor injuries and released back to duty. An inmate was also treated and released back to the prison.

An investigation has been launched.
