LAND O’LAKES — A woman arrested on a grand theft warrant is now facing more charges after allegedly attacking corrections officers.
Jennifer Prevo was being processed, according to Bay News 9, when she became combative. At one point, she kicked an officer so hard that he fell to the ground with an injured ankle.
Officers quickly wrestled Prevo to the ground, even as she continued to lash out and kicked another officer’s arms.
Prevo is now facing two counts of battery on a corrections officer in addition to her original charge.
