ATTICA — An inmate at Wyoming Correctional Facility was charged Jan. 25 after an incident in which he injured three corrections officers, state police said.
Khamari D. Brown, 19, assaulted two officers in the prison’s dorm area, troopers said. He later allegedly attacked a sergeant outside the facility’s hospital, causing the officer to suffer a serious head injury.
Brown was charged with three counts of second-degree assault. He was arraigned in Wyoming County Court and returned to prison, and will face further court action at a later date.
