GREENSBORO, N.C. — An inmate at Guilford County jail may have just extended his stay after a recent incident.
Authorities accuse Naquaiel Shaheim Potts, 18, of two counts of assault on a government official.
The charges stem from an incident in which county detention officers were trying subdue inmates. Authorities say Potts bit one detention officer on the arm, and spit on another officer.
Potts, described in the arrest report as homeless, will appear in court on the assault charges on Dec. 17.
