GREEN OAK, Mich. — A former Woodland Center Correctional Facility inmate pleaded guilty Friday to assaulting three corrections officers at the Green Oak Township facility.
Henry Bigelow, 42, pleaded guilty to three counts of felonious assault for incidents in March.
When asked if he verbally threatened one officer, Bigelow replied: “Yes, I did threaten him.”
The plea deal was made as a Cobbs agreement, which means the judge agreed to a sentence of 50 months to 15 years in prison, which will run consecutive to Bigelow’s current Michigan Department of Corrections sentence.
