DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. — An inmate at State Correctional Institute Chester allegedly punched a supervising correctional officer in the face twice because he didn’t like the way the officer was talking to him “like a child,” according to charges filed by the Pennsylvania State Police.
Siddeeq Bosil Henry, 22, who is currently serving time for an aggravated assault out of Philadelphia, is now facing aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment offenses in an incident last month involving a 45-year-old correctional officer.
Trooper John O’Donnell was assigned on the morning of July 31 to investigate a report of an assault on a correctional officer at state prison, located on Fourth Street in Chester. That same day, the C.O., who holds the rank of lieutenant, told O’Donnell that he was walking into the medical area of the facility shortly after 8 a.m. on July 24 when he saw an inmate he knew only by his last name walking toward the yard.
