Police: Combative inmate bites CO’s thigh

The bite allegedly broke the officer’s skin, Prince William County Police said

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Inmate Victor Keith Lystad is charged with malicious wounding of a corrections officer after allegedly biting the officer in the thigh.

Lystad had been charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest. He became combative during processing and bit an unnamed officer in the thigh, according to The Manassas Patch.

The injury broke the officer’s skin and resulted in him being sent for medical treatment.

Lystad is being held without bond at the adult detention center.
