OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — A man was arrested last week for stealing a microwave before trying to sell it back to its owner.
Rodney Glenn Lee was arrested on complaints of burglary and assault and battery.
A woman saw Lee leaving their house carrying a microwave, according to NewsOK. She and her family were driving up to the home when they saw him walking across the lawn, carrying the appliance. Once he noticed their vehicle, he waved at them and asked if they wanted to buy a microwave.
The woman noticed that her front door was open and that the lights inside were on. She gave chase and neighbors called 911. Officers arriving on scene arrested Glenn and returned the microwave to the woman.
Lee was medically cleared before being taken to the hospital. He’s been incarcerated before, in 2002, 2008 and 2009 on burglary charges.
