Facebook isn’t the only social media site drawing the attention of inmates – now those behind bars are getting in on the action on Vine.
Vine is a video site where users can post six-second long videos that loop, and are usually humorous in nature.
Fusion discovered several videos posted under the name “Acie Bandage” that quite clearly belong to an inmate – though it’s unclear where the inmate is posting from, he’s certainly not shy about posting photos of both the interior and exterior of his facility.
“Acie” may be of Somali descent, as many of his videos are tagged #SomaliVines or #SomaliVineCrew.
Though the inmate does cover his face (with a bandage, tying back to his username), the fact that inmates are banned from social media puts him at a huge risk.
