Ultimate Survivors II Now Available on DVD; Real Life-and-Death Stories Profile Law Enforcement Officers’ Courage and Survival Instincts

Carrollton, TX - Calibre Press Inc, a leader in law enforcement training, announced the release of Ultimate Survivors II, the second DVD of the best-selling Ultimate Survivors series that presents the real life stories of law enforcement officers who overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to survive life-or-death situations.

“The Ultimate Survivors series reinforces many of the things we teach in our Street Survival Seminars such as the importance of being trained and mentally prepared for any situation,” said Dave Smith, Calibre Press’ lead instructor with 30 years of law enforcement experience. “Ultimate Survivors II presents true-life scenarios that officers can recall should they find themselves in similar critical situations and offers lessons on how to survive during an incident and the aftermath.”

Ultimate Survivors II, available only on DVD, includes new dramatic, heart-stopping life-or-death situations in which five officers rely upon their training, quick thinking, instinct and will to survive. The 89-minute DVD features stories of survival, such as:

  • A routine traffic stop that erupted into a gun battle for two officers, Scott White and Bruce Keffer, who rely on their training and determination to stay alive.
  • Officer Ray Wolfenbarger is gunned down after a high-speed pursuit, and his immediate reactions and will to live made the difference for his survival.
  • Officer Frank Hernandez is impaled by a 2x6 board through the chest as the result of a traffic accident, and his vehicle has plunged down a steep embankment hidden from rescuers.
  • While at home asleep, Melissa O’Connell overcomes and kills an intruder with his own gun, ultimately turning the traumatic event into a positive change in her life.
